Why I do this
I have always been interested in how societies work and how states, groups and individuals handle power and responsibility. Language is central to that: it shapes which norms and values become visible in laws, corporate cultures and services.
In more than twenty years of equality and diversity work I have seen how strongly a good working climate affects results – and how expensive prejudice and disparagement become for everyone involved.
